Your life, my dream

Guy Debord pointed out in "Landscape Society" that in the process of economic domination of social life, people first realized a clear transition from "existence" to "possession", and then the result of this economic accumulation completely occupied social life, And in turn leads to a general shift from "possession" to "appearance", and as a result, all actual possession must come from the final function of its direct fame and appearance.

Chiu's "Your Life, My Dreams" plan starts from the original "existence" form, taking Shenzhen as the object of research, starting with the movement of people between Shenzhen and Hong Kong in the 1960s, To explore the various manifestations of urban changes. They are based on their personal memories and experiences of the times of life, and contain a large number of symbols from a specific era, as well as a variety of artistic media and expressions, and the exaggeration and absurdity shown in the works, making these symbols have a deeper meaning . When these symbols are split into reality and video at the same time on the scene, they instantly form a pluralistic world.
